Please explain!  What do you mean by Shared or Partnership? 

Every business, large or small, can benefit from technology.  It can increase profits, save time, make things easier and quicker, increase communication and much more.  Although, without the proper implementation and management, these benefits may not be seen and could cause more stress than anything else.  And let's be honest, one guy can't do it all!

Larger corporations have the resources and see the advantage and the need for having a full time, fully staffed IT department.  They are viewed as an extension of their business, another department. Smaller medium size companies don't have the same resources or would rather put their resources in other areas, yet the same advantages and needs for the IT department exist.

Think about the larger corporation.  They have many different departments that are staffed with many employees.  For Example, they may have the Management Department, Sales Department, Customer Service Department and the Manufacturing Department.  Let's say each of these departments have 50 employees working in them.  The IT department supports each of these departments and does it very well.  The IT department is full of specialized people to support every need, are available for every issue and are focused on the success and needs of that specific company.
